Buildara ("we", "our", or "the app") is a DIY project analysis tool. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Buildara collects the following information solely to provide the app's core functionality:

• Photos: When you submit a photo for analysis, it is sent to our server and processed using AI. Photos are not stored on our servers after analysis is complete.
• Project Descriptions: Any text descriptions you provide alongside photos are used only for analysis and are not retained.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.
• We do not require account creation or login.
• We do not use cookies or tracking technologies.
• We do not collect location data.
• We do not sell or share any data with third parties for advertising purposes.

Local Storage

Saved projects are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to share it. You can delete saved projects at any time from within the app.

Third-Party Services

We use OpenAI's API to analyze photos and generate project recommendations. Photos and descriptions are sent to OpenAI for processing. Please refer to OpenAI's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle data.

Data Retention

We do not store your photos, descriptions, or analysis results on our servers. All data processing occurs in real time and is discarded after the response is sent to your device.

Children's Privacy

Buildara is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
